On October 31, the Antarctic Health Treatment module, jointly developed by Professor Hao Luoxi from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, was transported to Antarctica by the Antarctic research ship "Snow Dragon".

This project is an important achievement of the social development science and technology project "Research on Intelligent Human Factors Health Support System for Antarctic Scientific Research" of Shanghai 2020 "Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan". It is jointly undertaken by Tongji University, Opal Lighting, Yaming Lighting, Time Light, Qiyi Lighting and other lighting related enterprises, China Polar Research Center, well-known hospitals, scientific research institutions and other units.
According to reports, the Antarctic health human causes healing module has three functions: healing module, medical module and experimental module. Based on human causes research and intelligent technology as the tool, it integrates a number of independent research and development technologies, such as intelligent lighting system, intelligent light healing green wall and integrated control system of cabin environment, which can carry out quantitative regulation and precise intervention. It provides an advanced scientific research platform for comprehensive research on environmental health protection in Antarctic scientific expeditions.
